My name is Mercedes Santana!

I have lived in the most picturesque seaside town of Homer, Alaska for the past 8 years and I STILL cannot get enough of this state’s beauty.

Photography is something that I initially picked up while exploring the great outdoors. I started taking photos of the mountains and oceans around me while on hikes. This slowly turned into photographing people yet keeping my majestic mountains and oceans in the backgrounds of these portraits.

In combining my love for photography with my love of travel, I can capture both my clients and Mother Nature in one shot to really create a work of art.
